Escape the Flames

“Be prepared, practice, and prevail, turning panic into action when every second counts.”

What inspired me to create this particular project?

1. VR games provide an immersive experience that enables users to learn how to respond to real-world emergencies in a safe environment.
2. Through VR games, developers can communicate to the public about the importance of fire safety awareness.
3. From personal experience, when I was a kid, I watched a cartoon in which several young people helped publicize fire prevention knowledge in various ways, which taught me a lot about fire prevention.

Goal for the player

1. Let players experience and master the escape skills in case of fire through immersive simulation operations and given tips.
2. The game educates players on proper fire safety procedures such as checking doors for heat, using fire extinguishers, crawling under smok,e and identifying safe exits.
3. Players may be required to make quick decisions under pressure, such as choosing the safest escape route, designed to simulate the split-second choices required in a real-life emergency.

MainFeatures

1. Learn something useful about fire escape
2. Learn to use a fire extinguisher
3.Learn to use objects around you to help escape

Why this is better in VR

1. VR uniquely creates the sensation of being physically present in a different environment. This sense of "being there" in a fire scenario allows players to experience the urgency and danger without real-world risks.
2. VR can engage multiple senses, including visual, auditory, and haptic feedback, which are crucial for creating a realistic fire emergency scenario.
3. VR allows users to navigate and interact within three-dimensional spaces in ways that flat screens cannot. This spatial awareness is critical in fire escape simulations, where understanding the layout of the environment and judging distances accurately can mean the difference between finding an exit or being trapped.
